Rook has known, from the beginning, where he was at with the other. there was never lies or secrets, no manipulation or crossed lines. if Jiho really hadn't wanted Rook around, the demon would have not been around. so when he says that he wants to do this for Rook, it makes a warmth settling in Rook's gut. something that the demon knows will not be easily extinguished.
